Exclusion
Language that takes a type of injury, damage, or activity out of the insuring agreement.
What it means
Exclusions can live in the base form or on a numbered endorsement (CG 21 xx, CP 10 32, BP 14 01). An exclusion is not a recommendation to buy another policy; it is a description of what this policy leaves out.
Why it shows up
People search form numbers after a broker or an owner says “you have a pollution exclusion” or “participant liability is excluded.”
What to look for
- CG 21 series on GL
- Causes-of-loss limitations on property
- Professional services exclusions
Coverbird reads the declarations and form schedule on the PDF you already have. It does not sell insurance or say whether a limit is enough.
