Coverbird respects your privacy. This policy describes what we collect when you use our website and application, how we use it, and the choices you have. Coverbird is not an insurance broker and does not sell insurance products.

Information we collect

• Account information (such as email) when you sign up.
• Insurance documents and related metadata you upload.
• Usage data (pages visited, features used) to improve the product.
• Marketing attribution parameters we store in the cb_acquisition cookie when present.

How we use information

We use your information to operate Coverbird: authenticate you, store your documents securely, generate summaries, and communicate about your account. We do not sell your personal information.

Document processing

Uploaded files may be sent to subprocessors for parsing and analysis, including OpenAI and LlamaCloud (LlamaIndex). These providers process content on our behalf to extract text and assist with structured explanations. We contractually require appropriate security and limit use to providing the service.

Security and retention

Documents are encrypted in transit and at rest. You may delete uploaded materials from your account; we remove or anonymize data in accordance with our retention schedule and applicable law.

Your choices

• Access, export, or delete your data via account settings where available.
• Contact us to request assistance with privacy questions.
• Control cookies through your browser; essential cookies may still be required.
